Elections
The Student Body 2009 election will be held on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009. Polling locations will be open for voting as follows:
- Memorial Union - 7:30 am to 7:30 pm
- Gamble Hall - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Wilkerson Dining Center - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Link between Odegard Hall and Striebel Hall - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
Other polling locations may be added
Online voting details will be posted at a later time.
The 2009 Dakota Student election special will be printed on Tuesday, March 10. The annual election special features information related to candidates vying for a variety of Student Government positions: the information provided in the Dakota Student Candidate Form/Questionnaire will be used. It is important that this form be fully completed for this reason.
A photo will be included with the candidate’s information in the election issue. The Dakota Student will take photos on:
• Wednesday, February 25th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday, March 1st from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Wednesday, March 4th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
at the Dakota Student office (170 McCannel Hall). It is advised that candidates call or email ahead of time to confirm availability or if you are not able to make it during the designated times above, please contact:

The photos from the Dakota Student photo sessions will also be used for the online voting ballots. Failure to appear at one of these sessions will result in the lack of a photo for the ballot.
